The "Our payments their profits" report by Physicians for a National Health Program (PNHP) revealed how health insurance corporations are overcharging us by up to $140 billion dollars with their so-called "Advantage" plans. In addition, PNHP's report "Taking Advantage - How Corporate Health Insurers Harm America’s Seniors" showed the many ways in which insurers harm patients, for example through cumbersome pre-approval processes, narrow networks and outright delaying and denying care.

It is past time to demand insurers to stop profiteering off of us, stop delaying and denying our care, and to take privatization out of our Medicare program!
