Privacy Policy

Effective January 2024

1. Medicare for All Florida offers activists the opportunity to join our email list and mobile messaging using the ActionNetwork platform. As the mission of Medicare for All Florida is to advocate for guaranteed healthcare for all, we might send out emails or mobile messages with news regarding the Medicare for All bill, the Healthy Florida Act, or regarding healthcare reform efforts to bring us closer to this eventual goal, and healthcare-related information or information of intersectional issues and organizations. Most of all, emails and mobile messages will feature action items, which allow activists who opted into emails and/or mobile messages to join in-person events and Zoom meetings, take action on petitions, email writing campaigns, call campaigns, etc.

2. You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text "STOP" to the short code. After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time, and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.

3. If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program, you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly at medicareforallflorida@gmail.com.

4. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

5. As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. You will receive as often as several times a day in case you have registered for an event as reminder messages may be sent out, or as infrequent as every couple of weeks, depending on which events or action items we might spread the word about in that timeframe. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.

6. If you have any questions regarding privacy, please read our privacy policy: https://m4afl.org/privacy-policy
